Adaptive reused bangunan cagar budaya berbasis arsitektur berkelanjutan

Abstrak

Pemanfaatan kembali bangunan cagar budaya secara selektif perlu didasarkan pada pertimbangan isu strategis pembangunan berkelanjutan. Penelitian yang membahas pemanfaatan kembali bangunan cagar budaya dalam bidang arsitektur masih belum banyak mengimplementasikan konsep arsitektur berkelanjutan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendapatkan rumusan strategi yang dapat digunakan sebagai parameter implementasi adaptif reuse pada bangunan cagar budaya selaras dengan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Penelitian mengambil studi kasus bangunan De Tjolomadoe di Kota Surakarta, Indonesia. Bangunan tersebut merupakan bangunan bekas pabrik gula yang saat ini dialihfungsikan sebagai tempat pertemuan, tujuan wisata dan ruang komunal edukatif. Manfaat penelitian memberikan rekomendasi strategi adaptive reused bangunan cagar budaya dengan konsep arsitektur berkelanjutan untuk mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan. Penelitian menggunakan metode case study melalui observasi mendalam dengan teknik wawancara dan data sekunder dari literatur sebagai penentuan faktor terpenting dari konsep arsitektur berkelanjutan pada optimasi pengelolaan bangunan cagar budaya. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa ada empat aspek arsitektural yang perlu dipertimbangkan agar adaptive reused bangunan cagar budaya dapat memberi manfaat secara berkelanjutan yakni perlunya integrasi dan sinergi antara histori bangunan, budaya, lingkungan.
