Mobility patterns consideration of educational facilities distribution model formulation in Southeast Malang Regional development plan

Disparitas wilayah dan urban sprawl akan menyebabkan ketimpangan mobilitas antar wilayah—salah satu penyebab tidak meratanya pemerataan fasilitas pendidikan. Kajian tentang pola mobilitas memberikan gambaran tentang pola pergerakan siswa dari dan ke sekolah. Analisis tersebut diperlukan untuk mengetahui potensi permasalahan akibat disparitas spasial pada kawasan pengembangan permukiman. Tujuan penelitian; adalah (1) mengidentifikasi permasalahan dalam penetapan lokasi sebagai pusat dan dominan pengembangan permukiman; dan (2) mendapatkan rumusan model persebaran rencana tata ruang fasilitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif dengan analisis Space Syntax. Lokasi penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan metode Classified Purposive Sampling dengan skala observasi di wilayah pengembangan. Sistem zonasi sekolah berimplikasi pada pemerataan pendidikan, pengurangan kesenjangan mobilitas antar wilayah, pengurangan kemacetan, polusi udara, dan ketergantungan pada transportasi bermotor. Hasil kajian pola konektivitas, aksesibilitas, dan mobilitas menjadi pertimbangan penempatan fasilitas pendidikan di kawasan pengembangan. Kajian ini akan meningkatkan penataan pola ruang dan persebaran fasilitas pendidikan berdasarkan kajian konektivitas, aksesibilitas wilayah, dan mobilitas siswa.
