<h2>Author Guidelines</h2> <p> Welcome to <strong>JBIOEDRA: Jurnal Pendidikan Biologi</strong>. Authors are requested to carefully read the following guidelines before submitting manuscripts. Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned to the authors prior to the peer-review process. </p> <hr> <h3>???? General Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>The manuscript must be original and has not been published or submitted to another journal.</li> <li>The manuscript may be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.</li> <li>The manuscript must follow the official JBIOEDRA manuscript template.</li> <li>The manuscript should contain scientific novelty and contribute to biology education or biological sciences.</li> <li>The similarity index must not exceed <strong>25%</strong>.</li> <li>Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.</li> <li>Authors are encouraged to provide their ORCID ID.</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>2. Manuscript Structure</h3> <p>Each manuscript should contain the following sections:</p> <ol> <li>Title</li> <li>Author(s)</li> <li>Affiliation(s)</li> <li>Corresponding Author</li> <li>ORCID ID (recommended)</li> <li>Abstract</li> <li>Keywords</li> <li>Introduction</li> <li>Research Method</li> <li>Results and Discussion</li> <li>Conclusion</li> <li>Acknowledgements (optional)</li> <li>Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure Statement (if applicable)</li> <li>References</li> </ol> <hr> <h3>4. Manuscript Format</h3> <ul> <li>Paper size: A4</li> <li>Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides</li> <li>Font: Times New Roman</li> <li>Title: 14 pt Bold</li> <li>Main Text: 12 pt</li> <li>Abstract: 150–250 words</li> <li>Line spacing: 1.15</li> <li>Recommended manuscript length: 8–15 pages</li> <li>File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>5. Tables, Figures, and Equations</h3> <ul> <li>Tables must be numbered consecutively and include titles above the table.</li> <li>Figures must be numbered consecutively and include captions below the figure.</li> <li>All tables and figures must be cited within the text.</li> <li>Images should have good resolution.</li> <li>Mathematical equations should be prepared using Equation Editor.</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>6. References</h3> <ul> <li>Use APA Style (7th Edition).</li> <li>At least 80% of references should come from scientific journals.</li> <li>References should preferably be published within the last 10 years.</li> <li>Include DOI whenever available.</li> <li>Arrange references alphabetically.</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>7. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy</h3> <p> Authors must disclose the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in manuscript preparation whenever applicable. AI may assist language editing or writing improvement but cannot be listed as an author. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, integrity, and scientific quality of the submitted manuscript. </p> <hr> <h3>8. Submission Preparation Checklist</h3> <ul> <li>✓ The manuscript follows the JBIOEDRA template.</li> <li>✓ The manuscript has not been published elsewhere.</li> <li>✓ References follow APA Style (7th Edition).</li> <li>✓ Tables and figures are correctly formatted.</li> <li>✓ Similarity Index is below 25%.</li> <li>✓ All authors approve the submitted manuscript.</li> <li>✓ AI Disclosure Statement has been included (if applicable).</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>9. Submission Process</h3> <ol> <li>Register as an Author in the OJS system.</li> <li>Log in to your account.</li> <li>Select <strong>New Submission</strong>.</li> <li>Complete the submission checklist.</li> <li>Upload the manuscript.</li> <li>Complete all metadata.</li> <li>Upload supplementary files (if applicable).</li> <li>Confirm the submission.</li> <li>The manuscript will undergo editorial screening, similarity checking, double-blind peer review, revision, copyediting, layout editing, and publication.</li> </ol> <hr> <h3>10. Publication Ethics</h3> <p> Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and unethical research practices. All authors listed must have made substantial contributions to the research and approved the final manuscript before submission. JBIOEDRA adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). </p> <hr> <h3>12. Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
