Abstrak

Desa Bayan di Pulau Lombok adalah desa wisata yang mempertahankan tradisi Suku Sasak - Bayan. Potensi desa ini terletak pada sektor pertanian dan produk lokal. Namun, pembangunan desa terhambat oleh gempa bumi dan pandemi Covid-19. Untuk itu, perencanaan kawasan perdesaan diperlukan untuk pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Salah satu aspek yang dikembangkan adalah homestay, meskipun penggunaannya saat ini terbatas pada untuk wisatawan minat khusus seperti riset. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kendala dan potensi homestay dalam pengembangan desa Bayan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat berbagai jenis homestay dengan desain yang berbeda namun masih mempertahankan tradisi lokal. Penelitian ini juga menyarankan pentingnya mempertimbangkan kearifan lokal dan pelestarian budaya dalam pengembangan desa ini. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan desa wisata di Desa Bayan, Lombok Utara, Nusa Tenggara Barat.
