STRATEGI DINAS TENAGA KERJA DALAM MENGURANGI PENGANGGURAN DI KABUPATEN CIAMIS TAHUN 2021

Abstract

This study was motivated by an increase in the open unemployment rate from 2019-2020 of 5.16%-5.66%, lack of alternative strategies, and lack of commitment from prospective workers. This research aims to find out the strategy of the Labor Department in reducing unemployment in 2021 in Ciamis Regency. The method used is qualitative descriptive. Based on the results of research that the labor department's strategy in reducing unemployment in 2021 in Ciamis Regency has been implemented optimally, it is seen from the formulation of a strategy where the Labor Department in reducing unemployment follows the vision and mission of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Ciamis Regency by guided by RPJMD but for alternative strategies have not been implemented optimally. Furthermore, the implementation of the strategy, which is a priority program, namely training and placement of prospective workers with budget sources from APBD, but for the utilization of information systems has not been optimal. Then the assessment of the strategy, to monitor the number of unemployed obtained from BPS and for performance measurement using SKP.
