Journal Description

Foribus Iustitia is an academic journal published by the Faculty of Law at Widya Mandira Catholic University twice a year, in March and October. This journal serves as a platform for publishing research findings and scholarly studies in the field of law, with the aim of advancing legal scholarship and contributing to the resolution of various legal issues at the local, national, and international levels.

Foribus Iustitia accepts scholarly articles that have not been previously published and are not currently under review by another journal. All submitted manuscripts will undergo an objective peer-review process by reviewers with expertise in the relevant fields.

Focus and Scope

Foribus Iustitia publishes research articles and scholarly studies covering various fields of law, including:

  3. Civil Law
  4. Constitutional Law
  5. Administrative Law

  7. Customary Law
  8. Agrarian Law
  9. Environmental Law
  10. Other fields relevant to the development of legal science.

Open Access Policy

Foribus Iustitia implements an Open Access policy, ensuring that all articles can be freely accessed, read, downloaded, and used by the public at no cost. This policy aims to support the widespread dissemination of knowledge and enhance the exchange of research findings in the field of law.

Peer Review Process

Every submitted article will go through the following stages:

  1. Initial screening by the editor.
  2. Check for compliance with scope and template requirements.
  3. Similarity check.
  4. Review process by reviewers using a double-blind peer review system.
  5. Editor’s decision based on the review results.
  6. Final editing and publication.

Publication Ethics Policy

Foribus Iustitia is committed to maintaining academic integrity and applying publication ethics principles in accordance with international standards. Authors, editors, and reviewers are required to uphold scientific integrity, objectivity, and transparency, and to avoid all forms of plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, and conflicts of interest.

Copyright Statement

Copyright of the articles remains with the authors. Authors grant Foribus Iustitia the right to publish the articles in electronic form and other media. Any reuse of the articles must include the authors’ names and the source of publication.

Foribus Iustitia is published and managed by the Faculty of Law at Widya Mandira Catholic University as part of the institution’s commitment to the development of knowledge, research, and scientific publication.

Journal History

Foribus Iustitia was established as an academic platform for faculty members, researchers, students, and legal practitioners to publish research findings and scholarly ideas in the field of law. Since its inception, the journal has been committed to enhancing the quality of scholarly publications through a professional editorial process and an independent peer-review system.

Privacy Statement

Names, email addresses, and personal information entered into the journal’s system will be used solely for the purposes of managing and publishing the journal. This information will not be used for any other purpose or disclosed to third parties without the data subject’s consent, unless required by applicable laws and regulations.

Archiving Policy

Foribus Iustitia supports the long-term preservation of all published articles through a digital archiving system. If the journal has activated the LOCKSS or CLOCKSS system on Open Journal Systems (OJS), all articles will be archived in a distributed manner to ensure sustainable access to scientific publications.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published twice a year, namely in:

  • March Issue
  • October Issue

Language

Articles are accepted in both Indonesian and English in accordance with the applicable writing guidelines.

Publication Fees

Currently, Foribus Iustitia does not charge an Article Submission Charge (ASC). Any policy regarding Article Processing Charges (APC), if implemented, will be officially announced on the journal’s website.
